This is magnificent. Everything in the main detailed review is true, but mostly the main characters now sound believable in a non-operatic way (which tarnished Bernstein's own 1984 version). I just bought this the other day after resisting for a while. I have 1,3,4,5,7 and 9 in Nott's series, and I think it is a truly wonderful achievement overall.
