Sonics:
Hours of Mumien Schieben for the German in-laws!

This disc is filled with pure nostalgia, songs that fill the ear and never leave you (if you're German or have been immersed in German culture for several decades). Sound quality is pretty darn good overall, considering that these songs are 50+ years old, have been collected from various sources. Some of the tracks do the "in the room with you" trick quite well. Others are clearly old, worn out recordings.

It's hard to rate the performance, because it's various artists, some of which were really good, and others that were abysmal. For me, it's a "listen once" disc. For the in-laws...well, they are still dancing!
