I wonder has anyone heard this yet? Is it likely to be released outside Japan?

It should reach me tomorrow, now in transit from Amazon.co.uk. I'll be making a review, having done the first of the set. I've also got the bluray set of Jarvi's Schumann project.

Cheers,
John

Look forward to that John. I've got the ordinary DVDs of the Schumann project, and really like them.

It seems so, my copy is being supplied by Moviemars from the US at a sensible price. Due any day now.

I think that you will find that all the Järvi Schumann and Beethoven recordings with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie, Bremen on Sony, and others on PentaTone, were engineered by Polyhymnia.

Indeed but in this hobby one should take nothing for granted.

Perhaps John wouldn't mind me adding a small correction to his review. These Schumann recordings were all issued first in Japan then released in Europe. They have the usual European artwork and notes. The current one will be issued in May. The European issues are also much cheaper. I paid around £10 for the second volume and intend to wait until May to buy Symphony 4 as well. I have enjoyed the first two immensely.
