Discussion: Mozart: Complete sonatas for keyboard and violin Vol. 4 - Cooper/Podger

Several volumes in this series appear to have been deleted. I don't know whether the series will be re-released as a box set or will be available only as downloads. Neither would appeal to me: I'd rather collect the volumes individually.

I have all the issues, and they are worth getting if you can find them; IMHO.

One of the treasures of the SACD catalogue. Hats off to Channel and of course to Cooper & Podger! These deserve to be reissued in a handsome box set. Anyway, I recently finished acquiring the complete set individually as I noticed that they were getting scarce...at least here in Japan.

So far I've only heard volume one, which I think is wonderful. I'd like to acquire the remaining volumes, but slowly, so that I can really get to know them.

Of course, if there's a re-release as a boxed set, secondary market prices should drop pretty quickly for the individual issues.

Good point. I have just ordered vols. 4 and 5 at the normal price from an online seller, but I expect to be informed that they are out of stock and (after a wait of some weeks) that they have been unable to get new stock in.
