Does anyone know when this will be released? The Analog Productions site doesn't even mention it.

Most likely the LP is gonna be out first. Fall 2014 I presume for the SACD version.

Since this is a mono recording, I doubt that SACD remastering will help much.

Except SACD remastering does help mono too.

I guess that remains to be...heard! I don't own any mono SACDs.

It was originally recorded in 1964 and was available in both mono LM-2767 and stereo LSC-2767, I have the mono LP, but I see no reason for the newer SACD to be mono, I am willing to bet that it is stereo.

I hope it's stereo.

...isn't this part of the Living Stereo reissue series? Seems to answer the question.

It would seem to be. Oddly enough, I don't think I've encountered any references to the stereo version, only the mono; thus, I assumed it was a mono recording.

My RBCD (GD87963) of the Rozsa violin concerto, with the Dallas Symphony Orch. and Walter Hendl recorded on 27th March 1956 is most definitely stereo.

Ciarain.
