Now this should be good. I have the redbook version of this Bruckner 6 (without the Mozart), Absolutely one of the two best performances of this relatively neglected symphony on disc, in my opinion (the other one being Eschenbach with the London Philharmonic). But is it worth the extra pecunia?

I forgot the old, but still magnificent, Eugen Jochum's B6 with the BR (on LP), but unlike Bruckner: Symphony No. 7 - Jochum sadly not (yet) on SACD. In fact, there is surprisingly little Jochum on our favourite medium /search/jochum
