this is one of my most beuatifull SACD's.
Astonishing performance of our GREAT JOAN !
Audiophile Must Have, if you like the voice of Mrs. Baez.
I cannot find enough words to explain you why the music of "IN THE BULLRING" likes so really.
It really seems that she sings in your House!
5 stars!!!!!

Sounds lovely, siebrand but I really hope and wish that some SACD reissue company would mine the treasure trove of brilliant releases which Joan recorded for Vanguard Records...which were also considered somewhat audiophile in quality for their time.

I'd also be thrilled if Joan's best selling A&M recording of Diamonds and Rust which had a discrete Quadraphonic CD~4 release would be reissued in the SACD format provided the QUAD masters still exist.

My understanding is that the Diamond and Rust 4 Channel Masters do not exist in the Universal Music vaults. So a Multichannel SACD of that album won't be coming.

I agree with Siebrand. This recording of her 1988 concert in a bullring in Bilbao, Spain is wonderful.
The first half is in English, including Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry" and The Beatles' "Let It Be".
The second half is in Spanish and this is where she really shines.
