I don't know if there's already a thread for this release ??

Just received my copy. Initial thoughts, very impressed, superb value, full of extra's and a wonderful sonic experience !
( Presentation / packaging, gorgeous ! )

Rob, it is being talked about a lot on The Rock Thread, but this is good to have its own thread.

I received my Deluxe Box copy yesterday and listened a little bit. I actually like the Title track, Rattle And Lock, catchy tune.

I don't often browse that thread, Mark.

It's a great addition, to our surround sound collections. I like "Rattle That Lock", but "Today" is my favourite at present.

I have finished my full listen and look to this Blu Ray.

I'll try to keep it simple as Rickko has the job, ugh, of the full on review.

The music is Gilmour, no doubt with little flashes of Momentary Lapse Of Reason and The Endless River, even a 2 second dash of Dark Side Of The Moon. I prefer this new release over The Endless River, and made me want to listen to Amused To Death, for all it's craziness.

Very melancholy as you would expect. My favorite tune is Rattle That Lock as it is uplifting. Other listeners, I have heard, prefer Today, not me.

Sonic clarity is perfect, a 10 of 10.

The best of this Blu Ray is the Audio Visual content. The Barn Jams with Rick Wright are better than any songs on the released disc, superb. The rest very interesting and turns very boring by end, but I hung in there for the finish.

I have been listening to David Gilmour for a long time now and he is what he is.

After giving this Blu Ray a very studious listen I couldn't wait to turn on the 5.1 DVD~A of Deep Purple's, Machine Head.
