Thrilled to see this is coming. Whilst I still want the third Praga release in their series, the Carmina are a wonderful quartet. I have several of their earlier cds on Denon and wouldnt part with them for quids. Paul.

Interestingly, although their recordings and programmes span classical, romantic and 20th-century (I have their Szymanowski), Bartók has not appeared in their repertoire. Have they been working this up in secret?

Hello Paul,

Did you ever acquire this disc? If so, did it fit your expectations? I have not ordered it because I was unimpressed by Fandango - Carmina Quartet, Rolf Lislevand, Nina Corti (or at least found its Musica Notturna less satisfying than that on Die Röhre, The Tube - Stuttgarter Kammerorchester).

Dear steve, never got hold of a copy and the current price is silly. I liked the fandango disc and couldn't relate to the criticism of it at the time.
