Discussion: American Composers - Pacific Trio

A most beautiful trio performance of twentieth century composers Gershwin, Copland, Bernstein and Robert Muczynski on the Marsayas label. Although the album is listed as stereo on the back of the sacd, the release is multi-channel. I listened in both modes and preferred the multi-channel. Although the album was recorded DDD, this German import reproduces Edith Orloff's piano, Roger Wilkie's violin and John Walz' cello with astounding warmth and clarity. Highly recommended.

Got it! Lovely stuff. Fine recording-- perhaps a tad reverberant in MC, but no real complaints. If you like the music, go for it!
