Nice to see Roussel's name pop up- a symphony cycle would certainly meet a need.

List updated slightly, there's a Steinbacher release, presumably with Tzigane, Lark Ascending, etc? I am also curious if anybody out there is actually purchasing these Getty discs, although maybe that's not the point if that's your name...

Is Sa Chen or Nareh Arghamanyan not recording with Pentatone any longer?

I guess that it is this one (recorded in 1979).

REMASTERED CLASSICS Bizet - Carmen Suites I + II / Arlésienne Suites I + II

REMASTERED CLASSICS Beethoven - Sonata No. 1, Op. 12/1 for Piano and Violin / Sonata No. 2, Op. 24 for Piano and Violin

REMASTERED CLASSICS Mozart - Piano Concertos KV 414 + KV 453

REMASTERED CLASSICS Beethoven - Violin Concerto, Op. 61

REMASTERED CLASSICS Bruch - Adagio apassionato, Op. 57 / Romanze, Op. 42

So, more Remastered Classics, based on Philips recordings that hadn't gotten out as RQR releases. Some supposition as to which recordings the uncredited ones are:

No clue about who is playing the Schubert - maybe the Melos Quartet recording for DGG?

Could the Mozart Quintets be the Grumiaux recordings?

For the Bizet, I'd guess the Neville Marriner recordings? Likewise for the Mozart concerti that would be Marriner and Brendel?

Beethoven violin sonatas - Ingrid Haebler, Henryk Szeryng?

And for the Beethoven violin concerto, would that be Herman Krebbers, Concertgebouw Orchestra, Bernard Haitink?

Bruch - Salvatore Accardo, Kurt Masur, likely with the 3rd Violin Concerto?

These are just guesses, but it's a fun game to play. Note that this is resolutely not a wishlist, but rather an attempt to interpolate based on Pentatone release patterns. A few of these I'm excited about, a few are meh.

As for the new recordings, there's some great looking stuff there too.

Pentatone briefly mentioned a Nareh Arghamanyan disc of her playing the Saint-Saens 2nd, 4th, and 5th Piano Concerti on their release planning page, but that disc never happened and there's been no indication of an affiliation since.

There's also no disc listed with their new cellist, which I find very surprising.

They've updated the release planning page. I was right about the Mozart Quintets and Concerti and the Bizet works. I was wrong about the Beethoven Violin Sonatas - it's Grumiaux and Arrau (they also did 4,5,7 and 8, no word on those being done in quad too). Still no work on the Schubert Quartets, Beethoven Concerto, and Bruch works (although I'd be surprised if I was wrong on the Bruch).

This does tend to confirm that the Remastered Classics will be essentially all Philips recordings for the next year.

They've been updating the Release Planning page pretty actively. The Beethoven violin concerto and the Bruch disc are both with Salvatore Accordo on violin with Masur and Leipzig.

Not sure if there were there before, but a year from now we're getting Mari and Momo Kodama doing Tchaikovsky piano duo transcriptions, and Johannes Moser finally giving us a modern SACD recording of the Elgar 'cello concerto.

It also seems that between two ensembles we'll be getting the Dvorak 5th through the 9th along with the shorter orchestral works. I'm especially excited about getting the underplayed rhapsodies.
