I have first with Bernstein/NY Philharmonic on SACD, if you dont yet own it i strongly suggest you give it a try - the quality is a amazing for a 1966 recording and the performance is excellent. Hi, I'm interested if anyone has any views on the Kindertotenlieder piece on this SACD. Ive noticed there are three reviews which are all pretty complimentary, but mainly talk about the 3rd Symphony. I would STRONGLY disagree that DTS sounds the same or as good as DD. DD is pretty crap (dull, lifeless, no detail…), however DTS is much better in both movie and audio tracks, so if you have a choice between a DTS version of a movie and DD (and you have the appropriate decoder) pay the extra for DTS.
