I don't usually get involved in reviewing Reviews, but Luukas's contention that not all the notes are played by the soloist is, with all possible due respect, poppycocks. Robert von Bahr

Thanking wehecht for his review, let me just point out that the Peer Gynt Suites were NOT extracted from the Complete Peer Gynt, recorded earlier. They were recorded anew in the version that Grieg himself made. For obvious reasons, I cannot grade my own SA-CD, but I do like it immensely... Best - ... more

No, that's one of the very few releases nowadays that is not an SACD. Whereas it is recorded in 24/96, the recording wasn't done by us ourselves, but by a longtime associate of ours, and was offered to us. Since there was no surround option, we opted out of SACD. Actually, he has two ready new albums in the pipeline. The Medtner/Rach you are referring to, will be released in early December from us (but rather later from some physical distributors) oncl. a site you all know.
