Currently I use my money to buy high quality music instead of system upgrades, sacd's make my system sound better and I also get more nice music to listen to. I currently own 30 sacd's, and I have at least 30 more on my wishlist. My taste in music have changed during the last 5-10 years, from heavy metal only to now also include jazz, blues, singer/songwriter, various pop and some synth/electronica. I like some classic music also, but I have no big intrest in classical music.

Cardigans: Long Gone Before Daylight        (1 of 1 found this review helpful)

Swedish Cardigans hit the charts a decade ago with the song 'Lovefool'. Fortunatly they have been taking giant steps forward since then. On the album Gran turismo they tried hard rock music but I think the softer rock on 'Long gone before daylight' suits them much better. Since I have not heard ... more

Being a fan of both Nightwish and Sacd, this was a must have for me. It think this live album is really good, I have seen Nightwish performing live and I have nothing to complain about the performance on this album. The only thing to complain about is that the Sacd is missing two tracks comparing to ... more

Yes, I like it! This is what I excpect from a new DM album, it has the classic DM mellancollic synth pop sound, but at the same time it's a step forward, it's not just a bad copy of older albums. For those who stopped listening to new DM albums since 'Ultra' I really think you should give this album ... more

Excellent! I can't imagine this album getting any better than this. I already had the Cd version and even though it was a very good sounding cd it's not even close to the amazing sound of this sacd. And the surruond mix really makes this album come alive, it's a very good surround mix with a lot of ... more

Yes, Finally! A Opus 3 album that actually is fun listening to! All my Opus 3 albums sounds great but this is the first one that allso have a musical content which don't make me bored after just a few tracks. The first time I listened to this album I was really surprised, this was more than I hoped ... more

I actually think this is a great idea (although I don't know if it was ment to be a joke). I would like to see a function so that I could list my Sacd's, and if I'm intrestsed in a title and there's no review of it, I can send a message to someone that owns this title and ask him/her to say I few words about it before I buy it. This might also make ... more
