  Foreign news reporter at a Swedish daily, born in 1953. Former reviewer of classical records. I have around 3000 CDs (including a lot of rock), some 150 SACD, almost 1 TB of MCH recordings on a computer, and also some rock DVD-A.

DISAPPOINTMENT! I went to buy the Beatles 1+ box with 2 BR discs this morning. I have actually heard a 4.0 mix of The Wall, most likely a download of dubious origin. Surround effects were quite good but, according to my memory, overall sound quality rather muddy. There seems to be a lot of unofficial surround mixes out there on the web of very differring quality. Wonder how they are done. ... more
