I left this CD at a friend's place. I could not do without it for the few weeks it would take for him to return it, so I bought another copy. Well I disagree with the above review. I have Cantate Domino on LP, CD, and now SACD. The CD layer on the SACD sounds the same or maybe slightly better than the CD only version. This is another Pentatone reissure of a classic disc. The transfer is first rate - on my system I can hear no obvious faults with this SACD.
