At the present time, this is the only Sibelius Fourth on sacd. This Avex Classics East German reissue by Kurt Sanderling is a fine rendition of this symphony. The sound here is quite good as well. This is a fine performance here of the First Brahms Piano Concerto by Clifford Curzon and George Szell. Oh what a delight this disc is of flute and recorder concertos and sonatas by Vivaldi, Mancini, and Barbella. The recording tends to highlight the soloist’s and leave the continuo players a bit in the background, but it seems to come out quite well. Here's a nice selection of the Corelli Op.6 by Simon Murphy and his New Dutch Academy. One distinguishing thing about the music here is a heavy basso continuo. It adds a different touch to the sound of the music, and I rather enjoyed this.
