Elevator Muzak never sounded so good. ;-)

This SACD has a new high resolution mastering: 32 bit / 192 kHz. Is this the wave of the future? Or... Old news?? Anyone have any thoughts??

Most Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) use internal 32 48 or 64 bit data widths. So do a lot of software players. Some DACS now accept 32 bit PCM data. Its more marketing speak than any auditory revolution. If you want to process (add, subtract, divide, multiply 24 bit data with signal processing then better to use greater/deeper data width to do it for precision and rounding.

Thanks for the info Steve!

It sounds great!! But, I don't have any other versions of this music to compare it to.

Along with the Muzak classics (think One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest), there is some nice big band swing music. There is also an excellent version of Peter Gunn. And Topsy II has an appealing quirkiness.
