Anyone planning a review of this one?

My copy arrived on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Music is boring, but the sound is above average. No use for the 5.1 layer here.

I agree; music too boring for me to take the dive. Glorified elevator music. I like Benson's playing on Miles in the Sky. Too bad that's not on SACD.

I'm not getting this either, although I like Benson as a guitarist (mostly his earlier albums). The music sounds embarrassingly cheesy and dated today.

Mobile Fidelity plans to reissue Miles in the Sky in SACD format.

It is of the time, and is pretty slick, dated perhaps, but elevator music?...below Tommy LiPuma's glossy production, there is some smoking hot Benson guitar playing that sure isn't elevator music!
