Based on his Lizst Transcendental Etudes and Scriabin discs, this ought to be excellent.

John - thanks for your recommendations. I have not heard any of these discs (in fact, I don't know the pianist at all) and this is definitely my type of repertoire!

Nor had I. I read a few good reviews and decided to take a chance. He may not make one forget Sviatoslav Richter or Lazar Berman, but he definitely plays with a lot of character, passion, and virtuosity. Both previous SACDs have excellent sound, too.
