Not released on SACD (and no hint it will be) but the DSD is now available for download from AcousticSounds.

No indication yet about the mastering credits. The text on the product page (Bernie Grundman using an all-tube cutting system) is from the Classic Records LP released in 2000.

I downloaded it and it does sound very good. Stereo, but I imagine would sound great in surround. Maybe one day....

I have the Classic 24/192 DVDA release. I wonder if there is much difference. I have MJ Thiller in 24/176 but then downloaded the DSD from AcousticSounds and the DSD is far superior IMHO.
Do you have the ability to compare the Classic and DSD?

The DSD download sounds really good, I would say it has an "LP mastered sound" to it...analog, slightly rolled-off top end, strong bottom end. Not my best DSD, not my worst. I am enjoying the clarity of the DSD.
I no longer have the HDAD to compare, but back when I did have the HDAD it was not dramatically better than the original CD release to me so I sold it. I now have a better system so the decision to sell may not have been a good one. But I will compare to the CD one of these days.

Unfortunately I don't have anything previous to compare it to. I downloaded it based on the fact that a lot of people vouch for the music. Had an "aha" moment when the hit "Wouldn't Want to be Like You" came on. Didn't know who did that one, but I recall liking it back in the day.
