I just had a look at HRA recent releases and it seems Parallax Eden (electronic-chill) is being released on blu ray audio in 2.0, 5.1 and 9.1 surround sound! It also seem to include various remixes and is due for release on 18th September. I'm interested for sure. Fwiw, it seems you can hear the original album at David's website.

Thanks for the heads~up on this one, Derek. Likewise, pre~ordered a copy from AmazonUS. The MP3 samples sound luscious!

Time for Auro 3D..........9.1 {maybe in my next life @~@}!

Yeah I think this will be a an excellent m/m mix and 9.1? The ears (and mind) boggle at the thought :)

I hope to invest on Dolby Atmos in 7.1.4 configuration soon. I wonder how the 9.1 would be interpreted by such a set up. Or any 5.1 track for that matter.

As I just mentioned in The Rock Thread, my non-Auro AVR downmixed the 9.1 track to 4.0 (as per my speaker setup), so it looks like you don't need Auro hardware to hear Auro music.

Wait, I just read the back of the cover and it says if your hardware doesn't support Auro, a fold-down 5.1mix of the native 9.1 mix will be played.

I've just ordered a copy of the 5.1 DTS-CD, Chamberland, one of the other multichannel albums by DMH :)

I just listened to the 5.1 Berlin mix again and it took me straight back to the place where there is no spoon...which as it turns out, is actually the time between past and future i.e. each passing moment intrinsically and inseparably linked to the next.

Derek, another DTS 5.1 RBCD from David Miles Huber available and in stock at CDBaby http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41T9MorMSsL._SY300_.jpg

It was nominated for a Grammy in 2008 (best surround mix?)

BTW, how was Chamberland, Derek?

Thanks Ralph, I'm waiting to see how the mix of Chamberland is before ordering anymore because iirc, his other DTS-CDs were just a bit over £15 which means there's a chance of a VAT/Handlig Fee on import whereas Chamberland was £12 at time of ordering.

If, as I assume is the case, Chamberland has a great mix, I'll put the others on a watch list and spring into action when the price is right.

How did you enjoy Parallax Eden?
