Recently the national broadcast cooperation in the Netherlands started digital multi channel radio. http://www.hifi.nl/nieuws.php?keuze=38380 (Dutch)
They start with classical music from SACD and DVD-audio but will also broadcast MC concerts.
The station is "broadcast" on cable and Internet.

I welcome this initiative.

Wow!

I wish that could happen here - but, unfortunately its like a snowball's chance in hell! (the sidebands here are used for other public service media for the "print disabled")
