Concerning the surround "remix", I just want to point out that the recording on this disc is mono. Most of the recordings in this Delta label series come from french radio productions, which were recorded in mono until the 1970's.
I too have no idea how one can create a surround mix from a mono recording ...
It's also diappointing for collectors that Delta decided to omit tracks on the SACDs. For the Monk, Miles Davis, Gerry Mulligan and Art Blakey concerts, they have 2CD sets in their catalogue, offering between 90 and 120 minutes each, while the SACD releases contain only a 70 minute selection.
