OK a wee bit pedantic but does anybody have knowledge of why seemingly DeCapo are releasing this series in reverse order. Only Vol 2 & Vol 1 to go now!
What is the overall view of this series - is it as definitive as his earlier set?

not familiar with the earlier set but I find this series pretty dull anf couldnt really recommend it to anyone. And even the spatialised and upsampled Brilliant classics version sounds better, and generally has more lively performances. p.s.
