Performance:   Sonics:
I play this SACD quite often. However there are a few problems with it. The most prominent problem is that the Sax player plays sharp almost all the way through this release. Some of the tracks are worse than others, but in general, this guy is either not listening or was unable to pull his mouthpiece out far enough and remain secure. The second problem is with Mr. Brubeck. I have read other reports that indicate that he is a bit past his prime; this results in some sloppy riffs in his right hand.

But, yet, I listen to it a lot. That is because, inspite of the above shortcomings, it contains some great music. Sonically it is very good. My complaints may not bother you at all. I recommend it for purchase.

Sonics:
stereo sonics: good but not perfect live recording. Bass and drums should have more air and we have again a 5 meters wide piano!
