|It's a little disapointing that there isn't a 5.1 version of this great recording on the market but it's still very good even if it's just in stereo.
The sound is excellent both in part due to the High sampling of the SA-CD and the detail that Klemperer takes in his conducting.
The main motif that enters and exits thought the first movement is a good example, each note of the tuplet even so fast is clear is well performed and how I loved that motif. The clarity is matched by the great frequency response of the piece the new transfer is really well done, I have a external Digital to analogue converter and filters to create "natural" sound and with it, it sounded as if I was there I highly suggest this recording and I hope in the future "they" some record label releases a multichannel version of this recording. It's good to have it on SA-CD but to many people they will only buy it if it has the multichannel sound if you one those people do not buy this there are other great multichannel recording out there besides this fine one.
