Rammiepie, what is $1400 worth of treatment expected to fix? If it is the surround part of the system as related to music listening, that's purely by choice. Bad genes, I guess, but I am still having a blast with stereo. Thanks. Yes, the congas hail from the left on the CD layer and other CDs. However, on the SACD layers they flipped the channels. The congas are on the right. The same thing happens on all tracks. So, it MAY be that on the SACD SHM version, while using the same masters, they lay the channels correctly. For someone who does not care much about ... more | |

The price point objection I fully understand (and agree :)). I am not really planning to buy it. I am just curious. I have the SACD version already. Ok, then, I'll take whatever I can get.
